Staffing sector in the Southeast.

Beginning with ESG Consulting in 1996 where Mr. Sharpley served as Sr. Account Manager, Manager of Key Accounts, and Branch Manager. The Atlanta ESG Branch became a twenty million dollar business unit inside of three years. He also started, built, and managed an ERP practice for ESG in Atlanta which focused on PeopleSoft, SAP, J.D. Edwards, and Oracle and had as a main focus, The Big Four consultancies. There were also numerous end client accounts where the business was mainly augmenting staff on internal projects on a time and materials basis but also doing small project work (Upgrades, Module add-ons).

Mr. Sharpley left ESG in 2002 and founded Pierpont Lane with two partners where the business model was staff Augmentation in the I.T. space with a focus on ERP. Pierpont Lane created an outsourced recruiting model which was built for ACS (Affiliated Computer Services) with the help of the VP of HR at ACS, John Cascone. ACS was hiring 2500 people around the U.S. to service the State Medicaid contracts that had been procured. Pierpont Lane hired and managed a team of recruiters who sourced, screened and prepared candidates, “stocking the pond” for the internal ACS database, which was leveraged by the internal ACS recruiting staff.

In 2004/2005, Pierpont Lane partnered with Accretive Group and its President, Britt Ehrhardt to work on the consolidation of the back office at Deloitte Consulting and their move to SAP. This project solidified the partnership between Pierpont/Lane and Accretive Group. The company moved forward as Accretive Group, a Consulting firm focusing on SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft and Business Intelligence software packages Hyperion, Cognos, and Business Objects. Accretive is a full service I.T. Services and Staffing firm.
