Ram is an IT entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry including IT Staffing/consulting, Semiconductor Technology research, development and productization.
His IT experience includes M&A, Global Talent Acquisition, Sales and Marketing, managing strategic alliances and partnerships etc.,
Ram started his career in 1993 working as a Research Scientist at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, continued on as a Production and Development Engineer at Texas Instruments (1995-97). After joining Bellsoft in October 1997 , Ram worked with his partner, Paul, on turning Bellsoft from a small IT staffing firm to a reputed $25M + ERP focused Professional Services firm with several prestigious Fortune 50 clients nationwide; Paul and Ram guided Bellsoft through a successful M&A with a publicly traded technology services company in 2015. Both Bellsoft partners stayed on for another two years, successfully meeting and beating their revenue targets, eventually retiring out in 2018.
Ram currently focuses his efforts on helping other IT companies in similar situations through the challenging process of M&A (Exit Strategy, Financing, post M&A Integration etc., ),as a Managing Partner at STS Worldwide.
Ram has B.E. (IISc Bangalore), M.Tech(IIT Bombay) and Ph.D.(Georgia Tech) degrees , all in Materials Engineering.
